Another first for university of Chicago Neuro-Endovascular surgery program. First Tiger stentriever to be used in Chicago!!
60 year old patient with sever CHF on the heart transplant list. Suddenly developed sever stroke symptoms due to Left Superior M2 and left P2 occlusion. Both were retrieved fast by the Tiger stent and the zoom aspiration catheter. Both recanalized and Patient is back to normal and will get his heart transplant next week. University of Chicago always bring the newest and best technology to our patients. At the forefront!!
